Research Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse

The Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse (PDG) is an economic development initiative sponsored by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The PDG was started in June of 1999 to build an industry cluster around the application of System On Chip (SOC) technology in the digital multimedia and digital networking markets.

With the support of Pennsylvania's universities, private foundations, regional development organizations, state and local government, and private industry, the Greenhouse is creating an ideal environment for economic expansion and job creation in the 21st century. The Greenhouse is creating jobs by attracting new companies to the region, helping local members grow, and fostering start-ups.
